Project MadhuKishor

Project MadhuKishor is Shree Foundation’s initiative for children living with Type 1 diabetes. The work includes blood glucose testing, medical screening camps and ongoing care for children who cannot otherwise afford treatment.

Shree Foundation offers Type 1 diabetes support as a core part of its healthcare work. Families are visited at home and in the community, children are helped to monitor their glucose levels, and supporters are invited to adopt a child’s medical expenses so that treatment can continue.

How we work

How We Work

Screening and monitoring

Health workers check children’s blood glucose levels at home and in community settings, and record readings so families can follow the child’s condition.
Ongoing care

Children receive practical support with testing kits and, where needed, guidance on using insulin pens, alongside regular follow-up.
Community health camps

Medical screening camps bring checks, hygiene kits and related support to families who may not otherwise reach a clinic.
Support through Corporate Connect

Companies can run employee wellness sessions with us and, through the same programme, support Project MadhuKishor — our initiative for children living with Type 1 diabetes.
